PERUZZI The Florentine jewelry is usually marked F.lli Peruzzi Italy, F.lli being on an abbreviation for "Fratelli, or brothers; American made jewelry by two of the Peruzzi sisters is usually marked Peruzzi Boston 1947? A great affect was made in the world of diamonds, when in 1700, Venetian Peruzzi invented the brilliant cut. It was soon employed in the cutting of other gems, which helped the eighteenth century to become "the age of gems". Emmons was first used in 1948 and Emmons incorporated in Feb 1949 - 1984 - sold to Canadian based company -- continued to produce jewelry with precious gemstones under P B Manufacturers.
